“ I'm new to Jax and this has become my go-to fast food. Fish and shrimp cooked and seasoned perfectly. The fries are def out the freezer, but still tasty so whatever. I've ordered the chicken wings once before too and although they were very tasty, a little too greasy for me. I like a lighter fry. The seasoning mix is superb tho. The service is pretty slow, so don't go there if you in a rush! ”

Service is also a hit or miss, they will definitely often forget your sauces or drinks but overall they aren't too bad and are quick to get whatever you need. WELL I've come back to say this place deserves every official and unofficial check-in I've made. I mention unofficial because it's down right sickening how often I visit within a months time. If you'd like, go back and read my previous review .. yes it's lengthy but I drive the notion home that you won't be disappointed and you'll be coming for my crown as Duke! There has been an increase of pricing, rightfully so. I'd like to think they've gained popularity by word of mouth in the city. They have other chains up north from what I've heard but I can't imagine it getting any better than this. Go during lunch time for their specials .. pick your choice of Liver, Gizzards, Chicken Wing, Tenders or Fish with fries, cole slaw and a drink for $6.49. If you're feeling adventurous, be like me and order two meals and please, please ask for EXTRA SEASONING! Say it with authority. When they ask, "Anything else?", respond with, "Yes, EXTRA SEASONING!" COVID guidelines: Masks are not enforced but encouraged. ”
